Let's face it, some people have naturally perfect skin, and others just don't. BUT, that doesn't mean that just because you may have perfect skin that you still shouldn't be taking care of it. Me personally, I have dry skin in the winter, and oily skin in the summer. I don't often break out, and for the most part my skin is clear. A lot of people tend to ask me what my secret to perfect skin is, so keep reading to hear my tips and tricks!

Now I know everyone says this, but I can't stress it enough when I say how much drinking water affects your skin. The more water you drink, the more hydrated and healthy your skin will be, simple as that. Now, please enjoy this gif of Ed Sheeran drinking water.

Moving on... Not only is avocado literally amazing to eat, but it's also amazing for your skin. What I normally do is mix honey, a mashed up avocado, plain yogurt, and spread it on my face as a DIY face mask. I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes and then wash it off. This really does make your skin feel refreshed and hydrated and is super quick and easy to do.

OK, now lets actually focus on real products that are specially made for skincare. In the morning I wake up, wash my face with water and dry it with a towel but still leave my skin somewhat damp. I then use GLAM GLOW Mud To Foam hydrating cleanser which I bought at Sephora for $16 (30mL). This product honestly is perfect for my combination skin, it works as an exfoliator and then as a cleanser all in one. I've been using this product for a few months now and it's honestly one of my favourites.

After using the GLAM GLOW Cleanser, I use The Body Shop's Aloe Gentle Face Wash. This is a very light, relaxing foam that I use to help cleanse my skin and keep it looking smooth. It doesn't have a strong scent, and is perfect for people with sensitive skin. This product is also sold for $16 (150mL).

And lastly for my morning, I finish off my routine with another product from The Body Shop which is their Aloe Vera Soothing Day Cream. This product is also very light and just hydrates my skin simply by taking some of the cream product out and lightly rubbing it all over my face. This product is a more expensive, $20 (50mL), but it lasts a very long time and really does help with dry skin.

At night, I like to focus on face masks after I just wash my face with water. Some face masks I 100% reccomend after trying them are as follows...

Sephora Face Masks: $8 (normally no more than that.)

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask: $20 (50mL)

GLAM GLOW Supermud: $24 (15 g)

Thanks for reading, and make sure to check out these amazing, affordable skincare products! xoxo
