All Things Fall

Finally, here in Toronto it's starting to get colder outside. (Hence why I decided to change the font colour to orange to represent autumn if you hadn't noticed already.) Now it really feels like fall! F. Scott Fitzgerald once said: "Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." I thought that quote was super appropriate for todays post which will be focusing on stuff to keep you busy during this wonderful season. Oh, and from now on I will try to remember to add a quote to all of my posts! So, without further adieu, here are ALL THINGS FALL:
The first of many things I did to celebrate this marvellous time of year is visiting the farm where I bought pumpkins, jams and of course pies. Below is a collection of photos I documented featuring my little cousin, and my Nonna.

If you haven't already, check out my most recent blog post where I put together a playlist dedicated to the month of October!
The month of October is partially my favourite because I love to bake warm treats. But, I'm also really lazy so I tend to strive towards simple less time consuming recipes. I found this in an old book, and I think it's perfect and easy:
Recipe For Apple Cinnamon Delight
(Quick & Easy Fall Treat!)
Ingredients:
2 (12.4 ounce) packages of refrigerated sweet roll dough
Nonstick cooking spray
1 (21 ounce) can of LUCKY LEAF Apple Pie Filling
3/4 cup of chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Spray a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
Remove cinnamon rolls from package. Set frosting aside.
Cut each cinnamon roll into 4 equal pieces.
Place cinnamon roll pieces in a even layer in the prepared baking pan.
Spoon apple pie filling over the cinnamon roll pieces. Sprinkle with walnuts.
Bake, uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.
Cool in pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes.
Place frosting in a self-sealing plastic bag. Snip off a tiny corner of the bag. Drizzle the frosting evenly over rolls in a crisscross design.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
